The fourth week of pregnancy is seeing a positive result in the test kit significantly. Once after this, you can make an appointment with a healthcare consultant to confirm with a blood test. Sometimes, it shows negative results due to the early approach, so you can go for the fifth week. In this stage, the hormone appears shortly after the embryo gets attached to the lining of the uterus. In the 4th week pregnant, the level of HCG in the body will rapidly increase and it could be the confirming stage that stops your menstrual cycle and ensures the baby's development. Now, you are about to learn some more important things that occur during this stage of pregnancy.

Fetal Development at Week 4

At the week of four, a blastocyst is a cell that travels from the fallopian tube into your uterus. Probably, it is the reason behind the 4th week pregnancy symptoms that will confirm your pregnancy stage. After the fertilized egg implants, certain cells will develop into an embryo and others into the placenta. It is one of the essential ones that render nutrients and oxygen for the development of the embryo. In this stage, it provides all the things that are required for forming the brain and spinal cord for the baby.

In the 4th week of pregnancy, the baby gets implanted into the uterine lining significantly. Further, you can witness the starting stage of 4th week pregnancy symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and so on. One of the early physical signs that you will experience is the missing period. Meanwhile, it helps in indicating the progesterone levels that take over hormonal imbalance to sustain a pregnancy. As your baby develops, you can see various changes physically and also in the hormones.

In the development stage of your baby, you can witness various hormonal changes. Moreover, 4th month pregnancy weeks are important that ensures the growth of the heart, hands, and legs of your baby. Your body will start producing more and more human chorionic gonadotropin to develop the baby's health. Also, this hormone present in your blood will stand for 7 to 11 days after conception. It probably comes from the cells that can change into the placenta. Normally, this hormone level should range between 5 and 426miU/ml.

At the early stage of 4th week pregnancy scan, you will never witness any severe symptoms in your body. However, most women will never know they are pregnant until they go through the test kit. Keeping track of the menstrual cycle is the only solution to finding you are pregnant. Other than this, you will experience certain symptoms that are given below

  • exhaustion
  • frequent urination
  • nausea
  • the heightened sense in the taste and smell
  • high food cravings

Some home remedies for common early pregnancy symptoms are given below.

  • To get relief from the sore breast, use a supportive bra during the daytime.
  • Doing exercise for a small time under the consultant's advice will boost your energy.
  • Moderate your liquid consumption, if you find yourself high in the bathroom. Don’t cut this too much, which may lead to dehydrating your body.
  • Nausea is uncommon in this stage, experiencing this will make you eat frequent meals on a small scale. Many women will find relief from snacking some carbohydrates and other foods.

Week 4 Pregnancy Checklist

Make a prenatal appointment with the doctor once you find you’re pregnant in week 4. They help you witness 4th week pregnancy ultrasound after this, ensure the checklist is given. Do proper exercise and take healthy foods for baby growth. Also, avoid smoking and secondhand smokers that may affect the health of the baby. Limiting the consumption of caffeine is also essential to ensure a healthy pregnancy.
