24 Weeks Pregnant – Feel your Baby’s Movement

When you are in the 24th week of pregnancy, believe your baby is growing stronger. You may even witness drastic changes in their movements such as kicks and pokes occurring frequently. In addition, there is a chance of getting noticed the periods once after the moves of the baby are getting higher.

During the 24th week of pregnancy, your baby is in full size of the corn. On the other hand, your little one weighs around 1 pound and they even grow gradually. They are almost in the size of 8 inches from their crown to the rump. However, your baby will ensure the complete size that they get in the human stage significantly. You can even view their movements and size with an ultra-scanner with the concern of health care specialists. In this stage, you are so near the end of the second trimester, which lies from the 16 to the 27th week of pregnancy. On a short note, you are approximately near the six months of your pregnancy. Your Body at Week 24

By the time of reaching the 24th-week pregnancy, you will gather about 12 to 14 pounds accordingly. Apart from this, your baby bump is also having some growth day by day. As your belly grows, you need to wear loose clothes, which may bring you various discomforts. Also, being cautious about each step is essential as it is difficult to see the floor. Wearing abdomen belts makes you wear any clothes and also during the time of exercise. To make yourself physically and emotionally strong, you should do exercises and consume a healthy diet. Hormonal Changes at Week 24

As said earlier, there are slight changes will occur in your hormones during the 24th week of pregnancy. You may feel tired and dizzy, which is also due to the discomfort of weight and baby movements. Though severe signs like vomiting, nausea, and others may not occur during this stage. The production of estrogen and progesterone gets reduced only it brings pimples and acne to the face. Getting the right medications from the doctors helps you get rid of these things. Skin Changes – in the complete period of your pregnancy, you will witness more irritation in your skin. Now, given you certain skin changes that are ideal for the 24th-week pregnancy.

Pigment Changes – due to hormonal changes, you can witness dark patches on your skin and the face. It mainly occurs due to the pigment-bearing cells called melanin are stimulating. Once your baby is born, these symptoms start fading without any effort. Avoiding heavy sun exposure and using sunscreen is essential.

Stretch Marks – as your body is expanding, stretch marks are a very common thing to occur. This will occur in your body parts such as the belly, breasts and even in the buttock. Once the baby is born, these stretch marks started fading and are completely demolished.

Itchy Skin – you can frequently witness some itchiness in your skin, to prevent this use some moisturizer.

Round Ligament Pain – you may witness some severe pain over both sides of your hip and abdomen area. This is said to be round ligament pain, which is a common experience in the pregnancy stage. It mainly occurs due to the ligaments holding your uterus being stretched and strained too. Doing everything gently and ensuring fitness may help you reduce the pain. 

Trouble Sleeping – in the 24th week of pregnancy, due to the belly you might find it difficult in sleeping and in finding the position. Placing pillows on the legs and one under your pillow makes you feel comfortable. 

Loss of Balance and Dizziness – your growing belly is the significant reason behind weight gain that is the reason behind loss of balance. Drinking a lot of water and making yourself cool makes you get rid of the dizziness in the body.

Leg Cramps – Cramping is so common symptom during the 24th week of pregnancy, which will occur from time to time often. Doing exercises by stretching your body and muscles helps you rid of the cramps.

Week 24 Pregnancy Checklist

A pregnancy checklist is essential for every woman to have a healthy routine until giving birth. Now, you are about to explore the checklist that you should follow in this stage. 

  • Do regular exercises by stretching your body in and out

  • Eat healthy foods to ensure the right nutrients for your body

  • Avoid eating oily or junk foods that may affect your body

  • Share good time with your partner about their movements

  • Meditate daily to calm your mind and ensure the mental health

  • Surround yourself with a good environment always
