Once after the pregnancy announcement, you can go through various suggestions from friends and family. Though that sounds good it is difficult to find the true and wrong ones among them. During the time of pregnancy, your HCG hormone level rises and there are various changes in your body. Once after pregnancy or childbirth, you can experience mixed emotions and changes. Still, many people will confuse you with some childbirth myths that are not true. You should believe something that is scientifically proven and has some changes in your body. Moreover, learning the truth behind these myths helps to enjoy your pregnancy peacefully. Now, you are about to learn some common myths running about pregnancy and childbirth below.

Common Pregnancy and Childbirth Myths

1. Stress Never Let You Get Pregnant

Stress never lets you get pregnant is completely a myth as it is a common factor in everyone’s life. However, if the stress is prolonged it has a bad influence on sperm mobility. Even if you have stress or worries there is no difficulty in getting pregnant. Further, it is one of the birth myths that are not true. There is also a study that states that women who go through stress will never have any impact on the pregnancy. So, keep in mind that your stress is not the reason that you didn’t get pregnant.

2. Fertility Decreases Due to Pills

Birth control pills will never have any impacts on your pregnancy, that is a myth. However, only a few months after these pills will reduce your pregnancy at any stage. Once after that, you can get pregnant normally, without any problems. Besides, it is one of the common myths about pregnancy and childbirth that is not true. You can even use birth control under the suggestion of the doctor. Frequent usage of this may have some impact on certain people's health conditions. 

3. Fertility Treatment is Successful

All the countries have some better fertility treatments but not everything is successful. Indeed, it is one of the important childbirth myths and facts that everyone should know about. The probability of the success rate of fertility treatment depends on the age of the individual. Women in their early 20s have twice the possibility of pregnancy. But, people in their late 30’s surely meet many struggles in getting pregnant. The cause of infertility also matters in this treatment's success level. 

4. Age Don’t Affect Sperm Quality

Age has an impact on men’s fertility and sperm quality. A study says that if a man is too big in age than a woman, that has an impact on pregnancy. However, the age of the men will affect the early pregnancy of a woman. In that instance, they should visit the doctors to ensure the quality of their sperm. There are many possibilities to increase the sperm quality of men in age. Though it depends on the critical health condition, the success rate reduces gradually.

5. Sex During Pregnancy Harm Baby

During the pregnancy stage, you can have sex unless and until the doctor says to stop it. Only in case of certain conditions do they advise you to stop this. Many people fear that this intercourse will affect the baby. Fortunately, no possible damage or harm is occurring to the baby due to this. You should have some awareness of sexually transmitted diseases in case of complications. It can have some effect on the growth of the baby.

6. Women With Nausea Expects Girl Baby

There is no relation between the nausea caused and the gender of the baby during pregnancy. Also, most people have come across this myth but nausea is a medical condition that varies for people. A study also states that around 70% of women go through nausea during the first 3 months. It occurs due to the production of a higher amount of pregnancy hormones. In the case of the twin baby, the HCG in the body increases, which will lead to nausea.
