How to Protect Kids from Mosquito Bites?

All we want our kids to be safe and happy, right? Though you have a plethora of matters to consider, the problems arising from mosquitoes are a foremost concern. The mosquito bites on infants create numerous health impacts and more seriously irritation and allergic reactions. As you know the skin of babies is too soft and sensitive as it gets affected more rapidly than ours. Mosquito bites are annoying and make your kid feel discomfort resulting in non-stop crying, not taking food, etc. To avoid such inconvenience, do all safety measures and let your toddler be happy and enthusiastic. Tips to Avoid Mosquito Bites

1. Avoid Exposure When Mosquitoes are Roaming 

This is quite a simple step yet a parent should be aware of it. Knowingly, mosquitoes are too active at dusk, dawn, or after rain. It can be hard to avoid going out regularly, however, it could assist your body to be protected from heavy mosquito bites. Among all Mosquito prevention measures, this needs to be taken into consideration with high priority. 

2. Don't Go For Heavy Scented Lotions

Mosquito eyes are not so powerful to find humans exactly. This is all about the hard-smelling lotions, soaps, or creams that you are applying to your baby’s skin. To Protect baby from mosquito bites, stop using those items and go ahead with hypoallergenic products. More importantly, don't allow your baby to stay with a sweating smell which typically attracts mosquitoes from wherever. 

3. Repellent on Daily Routine 

Bath your babies regularly and apply a chemical-free mosquito repellent without fail. In addition, you can't go with any local brand repellent that may not suit your child’s skin type and cause allergies. Choosing a toxic-free product is equally significant to avoid mosquito bites. Do consult with your doctor before buying and get the good choices to enhance your baby's health. 

4. Prefer Mosquito Nets 

Using mosquito nets is a simple and hassle-free way to protect your baby from mosquito bites. Unlike other products, this is not so harmful to use. It is advisable to buy fabric material with elastic edging that fits perfectly for any place (like a bed or cot) and let your child have a deep sleep inside. Nets also restrict dust or insects to go near your toddler while sleeping. 

5. Avoid Toddler’s Skin Exposure 

Dressing matters a lot here which tends to avoid maximum mosquito bites. Prefer lightweight material and cover your infant’s skin thoroughly which also allows his or her skin to breathe comfortably. The clothes specifically designed for swimming or sun protection are great to go with whereas warm clothes must avoid choice. 

6. Improved Home Maintenance

A home with a little infant should always be neat and clean. There is no place with a sticky feel that easily welcomes the mosquitoes inside your home. To protect child from mosquitoes, ensure that your home is free from standing water, dust, bad odor, and unwashed clothes. In a regular routine, do follow those activities and avoid mosquitoes entering the home.
